About the Role:

We are seeking an Aftermarket Repair Technician to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in providing top-tier service by repairing and refurbishing a wide range of Eriez equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and the integrity of our products. The technician will be expected to deliver high-quality repairs in a timely manner, reflecting Eriez's commitment to excellence and customer service.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • All work completed should mirror the mission and core values of the company; ensure we are providing prompt, superb repair to new and existing customers.

Priorities of work:

  • Inspect, test, and recertify lift magnets as required. Write up repair work for lift magnets as needed.
  • Assist or lead in the assembly and disassembly of customers’ equipment in the repair center.
  • Repair and refurbish Eriez industrial equipment such as SE magnets, all drums, ECS rotors, large feeders, etc.
  • Assist production in troubleshooting and assembling customer orders.
  • Work closely with sales, engineering, research, and manufacturing to improve products.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in assembly of or repairing industrial equipment.
  • Associate degree, trade skill degree or equivalent work-related experience preferred.
  • Mechanical, electrical, and technical ability to handle details of repairs.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability. Able to work with little supervision and make on the job decisions.
  • Knowledge of Eriez manufacturing processes and standards.
  • Knowledge of customer applications and use of Eriez products in these applications preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand equipment AutoCAD drawings, including mechanical and electrical details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work well with coworkers and customers.
  • Basic understanding of applicable electrical codes and regulations, mechanical standards, OSHA, industry and Eriez safety practices or ability and willingness to learn.

Hourly Pay Range - $24.00/ hr. to $27.00/hr. (Commensurate with experience)
