Talent Manager

The Talent Manager will oversee the scouting, booking, and management of broadcast talent, ensuring their seamless integration into EFG’s projects and events. You will collaborate with talent agencies, internal teams, and external stakeholders to coordinate schedules, manage budgets, and support talent during live events. This route is critical to EFG as it ensures the right talent is secured and supported to deliver high quality broadcasts.

The Talent Manager will report to the Director, Esports Talent Strategy & Management, collaborate with the Talent Team and support broadcast talent and agencies. The ideal candidate is based remotely but should be able to travel as needed for live events. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Scout broadcast talent and fit them to EFG’s broadcast needs.
  • Guide the booking process from negotiation to contract signing and travel bookings.
  • Assist in hospitality for broadcast talent during live events (20 % of time)
  • Build lasting relationships with talent and agencies
  • Coordinate talent schedules and activities with other key departments at EFG.
  • Manage budgets and esports-related expenses for talent engagements.
  • Ensure effective communication with talent to prioritize scope and deadlines. 
  • Maintain calm and professionalism under time pressure    
  • Minimum of 2 years of talent management experience
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Previous experience working with budgets and esports
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in English language, both spoken and written.
  • A degree in event management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in talent management or esports
  • Experience in the esports industry 
  • Proficiency in project management and software tools (e.g. Monday, Asana, Coupa) is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with talents, agencies, and internal teams
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Basic negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts with talent and agencies
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handling challenging situations
