What You'll Do:

  • Lead System Architecture: Architect and implement highly scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems, influencing technical decisions across multiple teams.

  • Technical Mentorship: Act as a technical leader and mentor, elevating engineering standards, guiding complex technical implementations, and improving code quality.

  • Strategic Ownership: Collaborate closely with founders, product leadership, and engineering teams to define long-term technical roadmaps and align technical efforts with business objectives.

  • Solve Complex Challenges: Tackle deep technical problems in distributed systems, data-intensive applications, AI integrations, and performance optimization.

You Bring:

  • Extensive Technical Experience: 5+ years of backend or full-stack development experience in high-growth environments. Expert-level proficiency in Node.js/Express.js or Python, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.

  • Cloud and Infrastructure Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS strongly preferred), container orchestration (Kubernetes), CI/CD practices, and infrastructure-as-code.

  • System Architecture Mastery: Proven ability to design and deliver large-scale, robust systems, with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, security, and performance.

  • Technical Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence and lead technical direction as an individual contributor, with excellent communication skills and collaborative approach.

  • Innovative Problem Solving: Proven track record of identifying and solving complex engineering challenges, implementing innovative solutions, and continuously improving technical systems.
