Software Engineer, Android (fuboTV Media Inc - New York, NY)
*This role is a New York City based HYBRID position. Candidates must be located in NYC, and willing to come into the office on a hybrid basis, three times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).*
Architect, design, develop, test, maintain, and improve software systems utilizing Android tech stack. Utilize RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services. Identify issues and implement solutions to complex problems in large-scale backend infrastructure platforms. Utilize Kotlin coroutines for asynchronous programming tasks, and ensure code testability. Collaborate with product, UX, and other engineering teams to deliver the highest quality video streaming mobile experiences for Android devices. Collaborate with other engineers and members of the fuboTV team to determine priorities and best practices, and refine functional requirements. Work closely with QA to develop automated tests to refine features and use cases based on crash reporting solutions and automated testing frameworks. May telecommute from the continental U.S.
Salary: $140,000 - $185,000/Year
Requirements: MS in Computer Science + 2 years of previous experience as a Software Developer for Android apps including RESTful APIs and Kotlin required
