Full-Time Nurse Practitioner – Cardiology
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner with a strong interest in cardiology to join our respected outpatient cardiology team in Brooklyn, NY. Position Details:

  • Type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Two Saturdays per month, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a daily caseload of 16-20 patients, balancing efficiency and high-quality care in every encounter.
  • Conduct thorough initial evaluations and follow-up visits, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Interpret chest X-rays and perform, as well as analyze, stress tests to ensure accurate diagnostics.
  • Collect comprehensive patient histories, focusing on relevant symptoms and clinical factors.
  • Perform focused physical exams, documenting critical findings to guide treatment decisions.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, COPD, CHF, and others.
  • Provide specialized care for patients recovering from myocardial infarctions, supporting their recovery journey.
  • Educate patients on lifestyle changes, nutrition, and preventive measures to promote heart health.
  • Treat adult patients with various cardiovascular disorders using evidence-based practices.
  • Interpret and manage results from cardiac diagnostic tools, such as stress tests, to inform care decisions.
  • Order and review lab and imaging studies, integrating findings into personalized treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design individualized treatment plans, enhancing patient outcomes.

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year (dependent on experience) + Full Benefits, including health insurance.

Qualifications:

  • Active NYS APRN license with DEA registration
  • MSN degree with FNP, ANP, or AGNP certification
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience as a NP/APRN
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
