This is a hybrid role based in our Los Angeles office and will require you to be in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
What’s so interesting about this role?
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Revenue / AdOps team to support our programmatic advertising operations and revenue initiatives. This role will be pivotal in managing the day-to-day operations with programmatic ad vendors, providing in-depth reporting on key metrics, and proactively identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth. Strong organizational skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential. Additionally, the role will support broader operational or compliance initiatives as needed.
What’s the job?
Reporting & Analysis (50%):
Create, prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports covering key metrics such as revenue, impressions, CPM, fill rates, ad requests, and more
Analyze data trends to provide actionable insights that drive performance improvements
Maintain dashboards for internal stakeholders to track key ad performance metrics via collaboration with the data engineering team
Vendor Management (25%):
Manage and maintain relationships with mobile ad tech partners (Applovin, Google, Meta, etc.) to ensure smooth operation and optimal ad performance
Review key performance metrics for each ad tech partner and identify any issues or areas for improvement team
Operational Support (25%):
Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, finance and other teams to optimize programmatic ad operations
Monitor the health of ad inventories and assist in resolving ad supply concerns by partnering with product and engineering
What we'll love about you
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Or 3-5 years of experience in operations, finance, consulting, business development or a related role with a strong focus on revenue growth and driving business results. Ad tech industry experience is not required but a plus
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve performance.Hands-on experience with reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Looker, etc.) and analysis
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with with a strong focus on creating clear, concise, and well-structured reports
Revenue growth mindset: Proven ability to focus on strategies and initiatives that drive revenue performance and growth
Intellectual curiosity and drive for continuous improvement: Always seeking to expand their knowledge, ask insightful questions, and find ways to optimize processes and enhance performance. Capable of independently acquiring new knowledge or skills when needed
Strong work ethic and drive: Demonstrates reliability, consistency, and dedication to completing tasks, with a proactive attitude toward achieving results, learning new skills, and improving processes
We’ll really swoon if you have any of:
Experience working with mobile publishers, programmatic ad vendors, mobile mediation platforms such as MAX and GAM, DSPs, SSPs, and other ad tech partners is a plus
Knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, including ad logic, programmatic auctions and RTB (real-time bidding)
