Position Description

iPullRank seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Market Research and Analytics team. Working with the Client Services, SEO, and Content Strategy teams, you will be hands-on in data management and visualization, quantitative data analysis, problem-solving, statistical modeling, and developing business cases and opportunities for our client programs. We're looking for someone with strong data analysis and market segmentation skills. Salary range: $70K-100K

What You'll Do

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize market, customer, and industry data and trends, and work with the team to incorporate it into marketing strategy
  • Transform data into insights that fuel effective market intelligence reports and insights
  • Develop market segmentation reports to inform marketing campaigns
  • Perform competitive analysis
  • Develop measurement plans  and reports
  • Proactively perform data mining activities to identify insights
  • Automate a variety of systems to improve the efficiency of delivery
  • Provide analytical support to the client and internal work as needed
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, tools, and strategies and share expertise with the team

Must Haves

  • Expert-level Excel skills
  • 1 - 4 years of experience in data analysis, market research, or finance
  • A laser focus on “so what” questions during any analysis to provide a big-picture understanding of the goals and objectives of the project
  • Proven expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, data mining, and forecasting
  • Client-focused analytical and forecasting ability
  • Ability to translate quantitative analyses and findings into accessible visuals for non-technical audiences, providing a clear interpretation of the data
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R and working knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative market research methods
  • Strong analytical mindset and skills, proactive problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Infinite curiosity for all things data, analysis, and insights
  • Self-motivated and able to operate independently with limited direction and guidance
  • This position is open to candidates legally authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to provide visa sponsorship at this time. Applicants must be based in the U.S.; we are not considering international candidates.
