Overview

As the Global Microsoft Alliances Director, you will be responsible for managing and expanding one of Blue Yonder’s most strategic global partnerships—Microsoft. Reporting to the CVP of Global Partners, this role will oversee all aspects of the Microsoft alliance, including product innovation, go-to-market initiatives, co-sell engagement, and joint solution strategies. Collaborating closely with Microsoft industry leaders, partner managers, and global field teams, you will drive a high-impact partnership that accelerates revenue growth, strengthens market positioning, and enhances customer success.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in managing complex, global alliances with technology hyperscalers, understands Microsoft’s ecosystem, and excels at navigating cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Business Development & GTM Execution:

  • Develop and execute a global Microsoft alliance strategy, aligning with key industries, solutions, and geographies
  • Identify new routes to market, including innovative joint solutions leveraging Blue Yonder’s offerings and Microsoft's cloud and AI capabilities
  • Drive Azure consumption and co-sell pipeline growth through coordinated sales planning, solution mapping, and customer engagement
  • Collaborate with Microsoft’s partner teams, Industry GTM teams, and field sellers to expand joint sales opportunities
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with Microsoft’s latest initiatives through collaboration with product and industry teams

Relationship Management & Executive Engagement:

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with Microsoft executives, Partner Development Managers (PDMs), and industry leaders
  • Serve as a key liaison between Blue Yonder and Microsoft, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities and execution
  • Represent Blue Yonder at Microsoft events, advisory councils, and speaking engagements
  • Provide quarterly executive briefings on the state of the partnership, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives

Co-Sell Enablement & Field Execution:

  • Enable Blue Yonder sales and customer success teams on Microsoft’s go-to-market strategies, partner programs, and co-sell incentives
  • Conduct regional enablement sessions, training, and community calls to foster deep collaboration
  • Coordinate and execute joint sales plays, workshops, and industry campaigns with cross-functional teams
  • Monitor and report on partnership performance, including pipeline contribution, win rates, and joint success stories
  • Partner with regional sales leaders and marketing teams to develop joint campaigns and demand-generation activities
  • Collaborate with Microsoft’s Industry and Partner Marketing teams to amplify solution messaging and thought leadership

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, partner management, or business development, preferably with hyperscalers like Microsoft
  • Deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, Microsoft Cloud for Industry solutions, and Microsoft’s partner programs
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and co-sell motions
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, influencing sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams
  • Experience with Microsoft’s Co-Sell Program, Partner Center, and marketplace offerings is a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed

The base salary for this role is between $90,000 and $115,000 plus commission

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
