Senior Data Scientist

There are 2 billion people in the world that are financially underserved, having little to no access to financial products. The majority of these people live in the Emerging Markets.

Jeff is a financial technology startup that addresses this issue. We build financial product comparison marketplaces that help consumers and financial service providers connect and increase odds of cooperation by the help of available data - largely digital footprint.

Our goal is to unlock financial services for the underbanked, with a clear focus on emerging economies that will drive the global economy in decades to come.

To date, we have helped 9 million customers in Vietnam, Philippines, Mexico and Sri Lanka to compare tens of millions of financial products.

As we enter the next phase in our journey, we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist. You will focus on building and automating end-to-end data science life-cycle, adopting full MLOps and associated tech stack using various technologies

and tooling in the cloud.

You will:

Enhance and support Sales, Customer Engagement and Development teams with various data services and products
Expand data science models' portfolio by leveraging ML and other methods
Work closely with Data Engineering and DevOps to support deployment of ML models
Focus on scaling up and expanding development and implementation of various real-time models
Build and automate end-to-end data science life-cycle, adopting full ML Ops and associated tech
Gain in-depth understanding and unique exposure to data, digital experience and associated tech in fast-growing emerging fintech markets

You have:

Interest and experience in solving complex statistical and data problems, ability to translate business problems in data science

Experience with all key aspects of industrialized data science life-cycle starting (data acquisition, modeling, deployment and monitoring) including knowledge of key required artifacts and automated tooling

Good understanding of appropriate analytical algorithms, models and experience in leveraging relevant tools and methods (especially, machine learning)

Good knowledge and experience with core programming languages (primarily Python, R)
Knowledge and experience with databases and data search and extraction
Knowledge of DevOps processes, techniques and tools
4+ years of experience in roles such as Data Scientist, ML Engineer, DevOps Engineer
Degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, mathematics/statistics or any STEM degree (e.g. physics, engineering, etc.)

Successful track record in delivering end-to-end machine learning projects
