The Role:

As a Compliance Monitoring Analyst you will be responsible for identifying possible regulatory breaches and key risk areas in line with the business’s predetermined approach. You will work to enhance and improve the methodology, and identity opportunities for technical automation of the monitoring tasks where appropriate, enabling you to focus on the most challenging cases. Never a boring day, you’ll be spending your time working with remote teams in a number of countries to support in performing reviews of policies and acquiring local market expertise. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will work closely to drive improvements and support in building knowledge of compliance across the business in areas like financial crime, RG and data protection.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Maintaining and documenting effective compliance monitoring procedures
  • Providing support and advice to Operational teams on Compliance issues
  • Assisting with the implementation of operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance across the Group companies
  • Maintaining the compliance monitoring program through testing and reporting of all monitoring procedures across all jurisdictions
  • Assisting with thematic reviews, gap analysis and/or compliance projects as and when necessary
  • Highlighting, reporting, and suggesting remedial actions of non-compliance as part of the monitoring process and recording actions and decisions taken
  • Keeping track of due dates, actions and required timelines to ensure timely completion of requirements
  • Managing the policies library and making sure that policy reviews are triggered at regular intervals
  • Maintaining accurate records of reviews conducted and delivering results and analysis to the compliance function
  • Proactively raising awareness of Compliance to aid the business in developing a positive compliance culture

What you need for this role:

  • 2 years relevant compliance or internal audit experience
  • Hyper-growth start-up experience strong plus.
  • Superb communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Keen interest in start-ups and compliance.
  • Cross jurisdictional experience in gambling is a strong plus
