Job Description

As a Linen Clerk, you have the opportunity to impact the patient experience and our staff by providing excellent service! You will assist in processing clean and soiled linen and uniforms for inpatient and outpatient areas.

Role Overview:

  • Handle soiled linen as per department guidelines.
  • Unload clean linen from the truck for designated area and bulk.
  • Pick up and deliver linen to assigned outpatient areas and locker rooms.
  • Use thermopatch machine to mark uniforms with accurate emblems.
  • Sort clean scrubs by size and fill scrub station.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, well-organized work area and gives to the upkeep of the department work environment.

Additional Information:

  • Location: 1275 York Avenue (Main Campus)
  • Schedule: Full-time evening shift position ( 3pm -11pm ).  work every other weekend.
  • Report to: Assistant Manager, Materials Management
