Your contribution will be vital in transforming our analytics capabilities from descriptive to diagnostic and prescriptive insights. You’ll lead a new team in Cyprus, work hands-on with data, and collaborate across business units to create data-driven solutions that directly impact decision-making. This role reports to the Head of Analytics & Reporting based in Melbourne and is focused on building and leading our evolving analytics function. You will help define strategy, champion tooling, and drive business value through proactive insight delivery and stakeholder engagement.

As an Analytics Lead, you will:

• Lead & Build – Shape the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our newly formed analytics team in Cyprus.
• Be Hands-On – Dive into data yourself using SQL and Python to answer live business questions and diagnose performance.
• Collaborate Across Teams – Partner with Sales, Risk, Product, Marketing, and more to align on business priorities.
• Mentor & Support – Provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning, quality, and peer review.
• Optimize Tooling & Workflows – Evaluate and recommend analytics tools (e.g., DBT, Redshift, Mixpanel) and improve how the team operates.
• Drive Insightful Analytics – Go beyond dashboards: uncover trends, identify drivers, and shape actions with data storytelling.

About You

• 4+ years in analytics, with proven hands-on experience using SQL and Python
• Strong experience in diagnostic analytics, stakeholder communication, and business impact delivery
• Comfortable mentoring junior team members and helping shape a collaborative team culture
• Able to thrive with ambiguity, pivoting quickly when priorities shift
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks) and modern tools like DBT, Segment, or Mixpanel is highly valued
• Curious, humble, and proactive – you bring ideas to the table and enjoy building something new
