About The Role

Workplace Technology is responsible for providing the technology that our people (PEXArians) use day-to-day in doing their work. This includes service desk, end-user and office technology devices, software applications, communications network and technology infrastructure services.

Our people are our customers.

The Microsoft 365 Specialist is a key member of the Workplace Technology team and is responsible for the operation, design, implementation, integration, and development efforts for the Microsoft 365 environment. This includes Office365 (e.g. Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams), Enterprise Mobility and Security (e.g. Entra ID, Intune, and Autopilot), and Windows Enterprise.


Key Accountabilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Microsoft 365 environment, including upgrades and defect fixes.

• Assess the current setup and suggest improvements to the Microsoft 365 platform and related applications.

• Manage Microsoft 365 optimisation, liaise with end-users to prioritise enhancement requests, and test quality before release.

• Troubleshoot user and technical issues within the Microsoft 365 environment.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, guidelines and manuals.

• Identify risks related to Microsoft 365 and plan appropriate risk mitigation strategies.


Skills and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

• 5+ years' experience in administering Microsoft 365

• Solid grasp of Microsoft 365 technologies and best practices, including Office365, Enterprise Mobility and Security, and Windows Enterprise

• Experience implementing and managing Microsoft 365 solutions

• Experience troubleshooting and solving problems with Microsoft 365

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment
