About Polygon Labs

Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the AggLayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the AggLayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widely-adopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains, including Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, and Polygon Miden, which is in development as well as Polygon CDK.

Your Role 

As the Lead Product Marketing Manager, you’ll own the product marketing strategy and GTM execution to grow the adoption of Polygon products. You will lead and grow the PMM team, drive market positioning, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, creative, and impactful marketing campaigns.  This is a high-impact leadership role where you will directly influence the narrative and messaging that drive product success. 

Your Responsibilities 

  • Technical Understanding of Polygon Products and Web3 Landscape. 

  • Product Marketing Strategy: Lead the PMM team, ensuring structured execution of marketing initiatives.

    • Define and refine messaging, positioning, user personas, and competitive differentiation.

    • Establish a repeatable marketing framework for product launches and adoption.

  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Oversee market research across relevant user segments,track industry trends, and analyze competitor in-market positioning.

  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution: Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams to drive GTM strategy and execution for all new product launches and major and minor version releases.

    • Create product positioning/messaging, goals, and deliverables across the content, social, growth, and devrel teams.

    • Oversee creation of landing pages, explainers, training materials, and sales enablement content

    • Conduct post-launch retrospectives to refine future campaigns.

  • Team Development: Slot in to lead and grow an existing PMM team, providing mentorship and development to enhance performance. 

What You’ll Need 

  • 7+ years in Product Marketing, with 3+ years in blockchain/Web3 and 3+ years leading a team. 

  • Understanding of deep technical concepts and the ability to translate them into clear messaging. 

  • Proven experience in GTM strategy, positioning, and market research.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and storytelling skills.

  • Ability to manage and align multiple stakeholders and drive execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Ethereum scaling solutions and decentralized infrastructure.

  • Understanding of the needs and pain points for both developers building on this infrastructure and the end-users interacting with it
