Business Developer – Financial Services

Overview We are seeking a results-driven Business Developer to expand our reach within the financial services industry. This role involves identifying and engaging potential clients, building long-term relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. The position is fully remote, based in South Africa, and follows UK working hours (Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM).

Salary: Basic R25,000 per month, excluding commission.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and target potential clients in financial services, including asset management firms, investment banks, fintech startups, and wealth management firms.
  • Research market trends and client needs to tailor outreach strategies.

Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Conduct cold calls, emails, and meetings to engage decision-makers.
  • Develop compelling sales pitches and proposals to present our financial services.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality prospects.

Relationship Management & Growth

  • Nurture and develop long-term client relationships.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored financial solutions.

Market & Industry Analysis

  • Stay up to date with financial market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
  • Identify emerging opportunities within the sector.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the financial services sector.
