Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Operations Technician to provide technical support to employees, troubleshoot IT-related incidents, and ensure the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of computer and network hardware, along with experience in software installation and configuration. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a high level of IT support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective IT support to employees, addressing technical issues and inquiries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day IT incidents to minimize operational disruptions.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving complex IT issues in collaboration with senior IT staff or external vendors.
- Install, configure, and update business-critical software applications while ensuring compliance with licensing policies.
- Track, manage, and maintain hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle.
- Configure and maintain IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.
- Monitor and optimize network performance while troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Implement and uphold security measures to protect company data and IT assets, including access control policies.
- Conduct IT training sessions to enhance employees’ technological proficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation of IT incidents, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Prepare reports on IT activities, incidents, and performance metrics.
- Regularly audit IT systems and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform additional IT-related duties as required.
