Location: Remote, EST or GMT zone preferred

We're seeking a dynamic individual from an HR background to step into the pivotal role of Coach Community Director to grow a world-class Coaching Community that ensures we are the platform of choice for the best Executive Coaches around the world. The community is a place for our Coaches to connect, learn and grow, so we continue to deliver premium service for our customers. This role will be an important link between the Sama Coaching Team and other areas of the business.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

As the Coach Community Director, you’ll play a vital role in building and nurturing relationships with the coaching community. You will help (i) engage coaches, (ii) inform them of best practices and new features, (iii) ensure alignment with practices for maximal impact and the Sama mission, (iv) put together workshops and training for clients leveraging coaches' competencies, and (v) vet coaches. You’ll lead the creation of webinars and other initiatives. This role will report to our Head Coach, Caitlin Foley.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Community engagement: Lead efforts to unite our coaching community, organizing webinars and events to foster connection and collaboration. Regularly create new content to engage with our community. 
  • Best practices: Ensure that the coach community is well informed and adopts best practices aligned with Sama’s mission.
  • Liaising with the go-to-market team: Collaborate with the go-to-market team to develop strategies to introduce new products to our clients in collaboration with the coaches. Execute these strategies by coordinating with coaches.
  • Data-driven growth: Use data and analytics to monitor usage and proactively develop strategies for increasing engagement.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Share insights across Marketing, Product, and Sales to drive product development and growth opportunities.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Experience in HR consulting, employee-facing HR, or learning and development (L&D).
  • Ability to manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including corporate clients.
  • Corporate experience, preferably within financial services, professional services or similar industries.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Self-starter, ownership mindset - the ability to deliver high-quality output in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Knowledge of executive coaching, or a history of working as a coach would be beneficial. 
  • Experience in buying coaching, training and development services would be beneficial.
