The Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring accurate tracking and control of inventory levels, and optimizing inventory turnover to minimize costs and maximize profitability.
Develop and implement inventory management policies, procedures, and systems to ensure accurate tracking and control of inventory levels.
Monitor inventory levels at external partner sites and adjust orders to maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing excess inventory timely depletion.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make recommendations for inventory adjustments.
Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory planning.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
Manage inventory storage and handling, ensuring compliance with accounting and quality standards.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to optimize inventory costs.
Implement and maintain inventory management software systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Provide regular reports and analysis on inventory levels, turnover rates, and cost savings opportunities.
Lead and develop a team, providing training and guidance to ensure efficient and effective inventory management.
Skills and Qualifications
6-8 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
Proficiency in inventory management software systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a similar field
