Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Security Analyst with a strong focus on firewall technologies to join our IT security team. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid networking foundation and hands-on experience with Cisco ASA and Firepower Next-Generation Firewalls. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, implementation, and support of secure, scalable, and high-performing network environments across enterprise infrastructures. This is a hybrid, contract-to-hire position based in Lakewood, Colorado.

Qualifications

Must have Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience
Must be able to participate in after-hours work as required for on-call and system implementations
Must have experience in administering enterprise-level next-generation Firepower firewall technology with a medium to large organization knowledge, skills, and abilities
Hands-on experience with routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
Experience with VPN configuration and support.
Familiarity with WLAN technologies and optimization techniques.
Basic understanding of voice technologies (VoIP, SIP, voice gateways) and contact center infrastructure.
Administer and support enterprise-level firewall and intrusion prevention systems, with a specialization in Cisco ASA and Firepower NGFW.
Assist with planning, implementation, and maintenance of VPNs, including third-party integrations.
Perform regular audits and optimizations of firewall configurations across data center, campus, wireless, and WAN environments.
Physical Requirement: Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other rooms
The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude

Compensation Range: $50/hr-$60/hr
