We currently have a great opportunity for a Security Analyst Intern (Remote) to join us! If you are a hardworking and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment, then TDS has an excellent internship for you!  We are seeking highly motivated, forward-thinking individuals to join and add value to our Security team. If you are seeking to gain experience and exposure in the cyber security field and general business, this position provides the perfect opportunity!

Schedule: This remote internship has scheduling flexibility but has a minimum requirement of 20 hours per week.

Pay: The hourly compensation for this internship is $19.00 per hour. 

Location: This position has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ States in which TDS Telecom operates.  

Intern Resources:

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

The Security Analyst Intern will partner with and support the security operations team. This role provides support resolving security issues, responding to operational security requests, and performing security related investigation and incident response activities. They will participate in small sized projects implementing security designs under direct supervision.

• Comfortable addressing issues and finding creative solutions
• Capable of handling multiple project tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in cyber security or related field.
• Two or more semesters of related technology coursework

Other Qualifications:

• Strong technical aptitude, initiative, creativity, and excellent customer service skills
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and critical thinking
• Strong documentation and writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to plan and organize multiple tasks
• Solid work ethic and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and on team assignments
• Self-motivated with the ability to drive personal development and process improvements
