Sonar solves the trillion-dollar challenge of bad code. Sonar equips organizations to achieve and sustain a Clean Code state by empowering developers to write consistent, intentional, adaptable, and responsible code. Clean Code produces software that is maintainable, reliable, and secure, allowing development teams to spend less time fixing issues and more time innovating. With Sonar, and by employing the company’s Clean as You Code methodology, organizations minimize risk, reduce technical debt, increase productivity, and derive more value from their software in a predictable and sustainable way.

Sonar’s open-source and commercial products – SonarLint, SonarCloud, and SonarQube – support over 30 programming languages, frameworks, and infrastructure technologies. Trusted by more than 500,000 organizations and used by more than 7 million developers globally to clean more than half a trillion lines of code, Sonar is integral to delivering better software.

Why should I Apply

At Sonar, we’re a group of brilliant, motivated, and driven professionals working hard to help organizations build responsible, secure, high-quality code quickly and systematically. We create solutions that don’t just solve symptoms of problems – we fix issues at the source – source code, to be specific.

We have a dynamic culture with employees worldwide and hub offices in the USA, Switzerland, France, the UK, Singapore, and Germany. Team members should be able to come to work every day, work on a product they are proud of, love what they do, and feel energized by their peers. With our roots deep in the open source community, we’re all about the mission: provide solutions that deliver Clean Code.

On a daily basis, you will
  • In this role, you’ll be responsible for all processes related to payroll and HR administration, and support the development and implementation of our policies and procedures related to global employee practices

  • Global Payroll:
  • Our payroll operations cater to the requirements of various Geos and employment set-ups (permanent employment, contractors, EORs, salary, variable pay, etc.)

  • Employee relations and lifecycle administration:
  • Ensure our people feel supported and cared for and resolve their queries in payroll, benefits, and administrative matters
  • Collaborate with your people team partners to build our knowledge hub and promote employee infrastructure
  • Organize, automate, and consistently improve our employee data and management

The skills you demonstrate
  • Experience as a core partner to Finance’ Legal and Security Teams in compliance and risk-management matters
  • A passion for structure, processes, and a sense of urgency
  • 5+ years in HR Operations with 3+ years of experience in global people ops roles
  • Pride in delivering excellent services to team members and leaders at all levels
  • The drive to own the entire administrative HR life cycle (onboarding and offboarding, work permits/visa management, payroll, PTO, leaves, and more!)
  • Knowledge of administrative matters such as social insurance, tax at source,  reference letters, work certificates, and family allowances for global locations
  • Experience organizing and maintaining employees' records
  • Understanding of the crucial role in preparing the payroll accurately and liaising with our external partners for execution
  • Proven success in a global, multi-location, fast-paced company
  • Strong team player; able to collaborate effectively
  • Rigorous, self-organized, and autonomous in dealing with priorities
  • Being fluent in English is mandatory, and knowledge of the French language would be an advantage

Why you will love it here

• We value a safe work culture - founded in respect, kindness, and the right to fail.
