Ad Ops Specialist, Display

The Ad Operations Specialist role supports the Display Monetization Team with campaign management, yield optimization and programmatic operations for display advertising on System1’s portfolio of digital properties. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting programmatic businesses from the publisher and/or ad network perspective. 


The Role You Will Have:
  • Support the Display Monetization Team in the following areas:
  • Campaign Setup, Management, and Optimization: Onboard and set up ad campaigns across various platforms. Implement, test and troubleshoot advertising campaigns, creatives, tags and data targeting solutions.
  • Partner Collaboration: Support the onboarding of new programmatic campaigns and ad partners and work closely with partners to ensure optimal performance. Identify and recommend new advertising solutions to Product that can help expand our advertising offering for advertisers.
  • RFP Support & Inventory Forecasting: Support campaign planning by helping respond to RFPs and provide accurate inventory forecasts and rate guidance for advertising campaigns.
  • Troubleshooting and A/B Testing: Manage yield experiments via vendor platforms pertaining to floor pricing, ad formats, page layouts and data signals. Support A/B split tests with Product on new monetization opportunities.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Set up and deliver performance reports, monitor KPIs and provide insights on revenue and performance trends. 
  • Reconcile and Billing: Analyze and reconcile 3rd party measurement discrepancies. Collaborate with the Finance team on month-end billing processes.
  • Platform Management: Work within various platform consoles such as Assertive Yield, Google Ad Manager and Amazon TAM to configure inventory, track performance, and optimize yield.


What You Will Bring:
  • Strong understanding of direct and programmatic ad campaigns and familiar with setting up, optimizing and troubleshooting PMPs.
  • Knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, programmatic vendors and publisher advertising tools.
  • Experience identifying and escalating issues pertaining to ad delivery.
  • Ability to identify insights and analyze data to assess display performance and revenue trends.
  • Degree in Communications, Business, Advertising or a related field
  • 2+ years experience working in programmatic advertising, ideally for a digital publisher or advertising network
  • Experience with ad trafficking, campaign management or display sales support

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $ 85,000 - $ 128,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in U.S. role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.


System1’s headquarters is located in Marina del Rey, CA with additional offices in Bellevue, WA and Guelph, ON, Canada. Employees near office locations are returning to the office. Location-specific policies and available accommodations will be discussed during the interview process.
