As an RN in Surgery at St. Joseph Medical Center, your primary responsibilities will include providing comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care. You will be involved in circulating and scrubbing for various procedures, including orthopedic, general, GYN, neuro, and ENT cases. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans, ensuring both the patients and their families understand the process and feel supported throughout their surgical experience.

To qualify for the RN Surgery position at St. Joseph Medical Center, candidates must graduate from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current state licensure as a Registered Nurse. While a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred, one year of related work experience is also advantageous. Certification as a Nurse of the Operating Room (CNOR) is preferred, and you'll need to maintain your American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification as well.
