Job Summary:
The UX Researcher will work closely with other team members to help manage the user’s experience through ideation, validation, and support in wireframe creation and prototyping. We’re looking for a UX Researcher who is excited about informing design decisions through research, usability testing, and collaborative design support. You must have a firm understanding of Mental Models, Interviewing Techniques, Qualitative vs. Quantitative Data, and how to report findings in a clear and precise manner. An understanding of Design Systems, Atomic Design, Lean UX, Design-Thinking, and Agile Scrum will be beneficial. Additionally, proficiency in Figma and contributing to wireframe creation and prototyping is highly valued.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Collaborate with Product Owners to understand business needs and provide insights on user needs based on research findings.
Manage and drive user research activities, including interviews, usability testing, heuristic evaluations, surveys, and field research.
Assist the UX Designer in creating and iterating on wireframes and prototypes using Figma, ensuring research insights are integrated.
Participate in brainstorming and whiteboarding sessions with Scrum Teams to ideate on potential solutions.
Influence iterations of prototypes based on usability testing results and research data.
Participate in design critiques with the Design team, providing research-backed insights to inform design choices.
Produce documentation that reflects research results and supports design decisions, ensuring they are added to relevant Jira tickets.
Provide assistance in building low-to-mid fidelity prototypes and contributing to the development of design systems.
Qualifications, Education & Skill:
High School Diploma, bachelor's degree preferred
Experience with heuristic evaluations, usability testing, A/B Testing, surveys, field research, and ethnographic techniques.
Proven ability to create test plans and execute large and small tests effectively.
Prior experience in a UX Research role informing design decisions.
Experience supporting UX design efforts, especially in wireframing and prototyping using Figma.
Familiarity with Design Systems, Atomic Design, Lean UX, Design-Thinking, and Agile Scrum.
Proficiency in Figma with the ability to assist in wireframe creation and contribute to prototyping.
Experience with research tools like UserTesting.com, Morae, survey tools, etc. is a plus.
Strong communication and documentation skills to clearly convey research findings and insights.

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000USD to $100,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
