Senior Presales Consultant

Overview

 

We are seeking our new Senior Presales consultant/Senior Sales Engineer  to join the Axway team! You would be joining the Sales Team in our Dubai office and representing Axway a Global software company and market leader in governing the flows of data.

Responsibilities

Axway is looking for a customer facing Pre-Sales Consultant who is motivated to help drive new business, evangelize our technology, onboard and train new customers, and establish revenue potential with existing customers. Ideally, this candidate will demonstrate a high level of technical expertise on Gateways, industry leading products and products. He will also have a proven track record of helping customers define their digital architecture to make best use of such products.

 

Additional responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with Axway sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions.
  • Deliver solution workshops, product demonstrations, technical education, and Proof of Concepts.
  • Deliver technical content for RFI/RFPs.
  • Support technical escalations, designing solutions; and answer technical questions throughout the sales process in order to progress/close sales and develop customer relationships.
  • Maintain an understanding of the client’s industry, including industry trends, industry business processes
  • The successful candidate will be passionate about & Platform Technologies (such as – Lifecycle, Microservices, B2B and File Transfer governance) and have or develop a strong understanding of Cloud, On-Premise and Hybrid environments. In addition, will work with, technical and sales, professional services, and our Business Partners ecosystem.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Proven relationship and organizational skills and the ability to effectively work with multiple organizations.
  • Ability to understand business problems, articulate a corresponding solution based on Axway software, build a value proposition, and establish a compelling reason to act.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and accurately, both written and verbally
  • Ability to confidently lead a discussion with a group of Product Managers, Engineers, and Executives.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing trends.
  • Understanding of competitive technologies and their place in the market.
  • “Better together" mentality and a sense of urgency.
  • This position will support clients and partners across Italy.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as Software Engineer, Pre-Sales or Technical Consulting, preferably at Enterprise Software companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Java, JavaScript, or scripting skills are highly desirable.
  • Experience with K8s/Openshift.
  • AI knowledge.
  • Hands on familiarity with (message queues, synchronous and asynchronous communications, and transaction protocols), REST, web services technologies (SOAP, XML), and enterprise Security standards (oAuth, SAML, LDAP, SSO).
  • Experience of Software Developer Life Cycle, CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
