The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Product and Service Quality Manager to support the flight test team join the team in China Lake, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

  • May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports. Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with flight line operations

  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing cross functional teams

  • 3+ years of experience with Quality Assurance

  • 3+ years of experience in Maintenance Planning Operations

  • 3+ years of experience documenting corrective actions and non-conformance

  • Willing to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Associate’s Degree or higher

  • Have an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License or an FAA Repairman’s certificate

  • 5+ years of experience working in a flight line operations

  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing cross functional teams

  • 3+ years of experience with release of aircraft for flight
