BrainStorm is seeking a driven and innovative individual to revolutionize our customer documentation. You'll be more than just a writer; you'll be a strategic thinker, a process improver, and a champion for user-friendly content. You'll own the entire documentation lifecycle, from collaborating with development teams to optimizing the delivery and consumption of our help resources.
What You'll Architect and Deliver:
End-to-End Documentation Ownership:
• Partner with engineers, product owners, and UI/UX from the initial planning stages to create comprehensive and intuitive product and API documentation.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and engaging content that empowers our users.
User Experience Optimization:
• Design and implement a seamless user experience for our documentation website, focusing on searchability, navigation, and content consumption.
• Develop and maintain UX copy that enhances product usability.
Process Innovation and Automation:
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline documentation creation and deployment.
• Explore and evaluate new tools and technologies to deliver documentation and quantify usage.
• Automate deployment processes where possible.
Content Strategy and Delivery:
• Develop and maintain a content strategy that aligns with business goals and user needs.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and adapt documentation formats accordingly.
• Ensure content quality through diligent editing and proofreading.
Internal Training and Knowledge Sharing:
• Assist with internal training initiatives to ensure internal teams are knowledgeable on product features.

Bonus points for experience in:
• RESTful API documentation and usage
• Content management systems and documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Confluence, Jira).
• Website design and user experience.
