Creative Director - Remote

We are looking for a Creative Director to join our team! The Creative Director will be a pivotal creative leader, responsible for elevating and unifying the visual identity of Builders Capital and its various business lines. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong design aesthetic, capable of developing and implementing comprehensive design systems that ensure consistent and impactful customer experiences across all touchpoints. You will lead the visual direction, working closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to deliver compelling and on-brand creative solutions.

What You’ll Do:

Brand Identity & Design System Development:

  • Evaluate, refine, and develop comprehensive brand identities for Builders Capital and its business lines, ensuring they accurately reflect each line’s unique value proposition and target audience.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive brand style guides and design system documentation, ensuring consistent application across all marketing materials, digital platforms, and customer touchpoints.
  • Create and maintain a library of design assets, templates, and guidelines for use by internal teams and external vendors.
  • Establish design standards for digital and print materials, ensuring optimal user experience and brand consistency.

Creative Direction & Execution:

  • Provide creative direction for marketing campaigns, digital content, website design, and other visual projects.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality design assets, including graphics, illustrations, photography, and video.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and other creative professionals to develop compelling and on-brand content.
  • Manage freelance designers and agency relationships.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality output.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative team environment.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to align design strategies with business objectives.
  • Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders.

Staying Current with Design Trends:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Research and analyze competitor design strategies to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Propose and implement new design solutions to enhance the brand experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a design leadership role, preferably within the financial services or real estate industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive brand identities and design systems.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand identity development, visual design, and art direction.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
  • Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Experience with digital design, and user experience design is a plus.
