Job description:

Join our Math Team! Cambium Assessment is a pioneer in statewide online assessments. We integrate cutting-edge technology with content expertise to develop standardized assessments for kindergarten through high school students. We are currently looking for a Test Developer II, with experience in mathematics content and test development, to join our math team. The Test Developer II will be a key member of the team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Use state item specifications to write effective items for different projects
  • Independently conduct preliminary and content reviews
  • Run educator content review meetings, rubric validation meetings, range finding meetings, data review meetings, and standard setting meetings
  • Write blueprints and translate them into item pool development plans
  • Manage math item pool development for a project
  • Independently communicate with state clients
  • May serve as a Math Content Lead for a project or a Team Lead for an internal team

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field + 5-8 years’ experience in math assessment or math education-related fields or a Master’s degree + 3-6 years’ experience in math assessment or math education-related fields
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with the U.S. Education and Education Assessment
  • Data-based skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to identify problems and conceptualize solutions
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Skilled at collaboration
  • Required travel for this position ranges from 1 week to 6 weeks per year for 2-6 days at a time

Remote First Work Environment
