Background & Position Summary
The American Airlines AAdvantage Co-Brand Product team sits within the U.S. Branded Cards North America business unit. The Citi/AAdvantage cobranded credit program is one of industry’s largest travel loyalty credit card programs. The Citi Product Management team partners with American Airlines to manage a suite of consumer and small business credit cards that use the airline’s loyalty program currency, travel assets, and marketing channels.
The VP, Program Management and Business Development role resides within the broader Citi AAdvantage Product Management team and is responsible for supporting the portfolio’s goals by creating new business opportunities through new and existing partnerships, as well as providing contract / negotiation related support. This requires a deep understanding of the payments ecosystem and how business strategies impact KPIs and the P&L, in addition to strong partnership skills.
