Civica India is seeking an experienced, creative and self-motivated engineer with considerable exposure to all areas within the Salesforce platform who is keen to join a multi-cultural software company.

In the role of a Salesforce engineer, you will work closely with the Salesforce team to guarantee that projects are developed and delivered in accordance with business requirements.

This includes all phases, from gathering initial requirements and design to construction, quality assurance, and the entire release deployment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Salesforce configurations and customizations with best practices in mind, guaranteeing that solutions are not only efficient and precise but also come with thorough documentation for a seamless experience.
  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders and the project team.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable standards (corporate, industry, national and international). Contribute your technical expertise to enhance project design and deliverables.
  • Take ownership of the modules assigned to you as part of the project.
  • Actively participate in hands-on design, development and testing on projects.
  • Participate in governance activities across the projects, ensuring solutions meet the internal and external requirements for the effectiveness, efficiency, confidentiality, integrity, availability, compliance, and reliability of all architecture governance-related information, services, and processes.

What you will need to be successful in this role

  • Should possess at least 2 years of applicable technical experience with Salesforce.
  • Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycles, tools and methods to support seamless deployments, including refresh cycles and overall environment management.
  • Keen interest in researching updates from Salesforce and keeping on top of new feature releases.
  • Proactive personality and able to work autonomously. ·
  • Exceptional skills in both verbal and written communication.
  • Collaborative team member.
  • Capability to operate at both detailed and abstract levels.
  • Capable of collaborating with external vendors as necessary.
  • Demonstrated capability to meet deadlines while upholding high quality standards.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Salesforce development tools including LWC, Visualforce, Apex --- 2+ Years
  • API, REST services, Javascript and experience with integrations to corporate web sites and bespoke solutions -- 2+ Years
  • Single Sign On (e.g. SAML, oAuth, Active Directory, ADFS) -- 2+ Years
  • Data migration processes to and from Salesforce, including clear data model and schema understanding -- 2+ Years
  • Integration experience to other Salesforce modules other than Sales Cloud as well as third party solutions such as Eloqua, LinkedIn and various Appexchange solutions -- 2+ Years
  • Modernization/redevelopment of legacy applications -- 1+ Years
  • Azure DevOps Management 1+ Years
  • Agile practices -- 1+ Years
