What You’ll Be Doing:

As our Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in shaping the financial future of our business, ensuring strong financial controls and providing strategic insight. You’ll:

• Lead the month-end process, including reporting to our parent company Biffa

• Drive the budget and re-forecasting process to shape business decisions

• Embed robust financial processes and procedures

• Oversee the year-end stat accounts preparation and audit

• Support commercial, retail, ops and head office teams with financial decision making

• Manage the payroll and procurement functions

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical expertise

• A natural leader with the ability to inspire and challenge constructively

• Retail or FMCG experience – essential for understanding our fast-paced environment

• Excellent IT skills across varied applications

• A highly numerate, organised, and detail-focused mindset

• A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities
