As part of the Copeland Electronics & Control Division, Verdant provides smart energy management solutions that are in extremely high demand in the Hospitality and Multi-Dwelling Unit sectors. Currently experiencing hyper growth and as we continue to expand to new markets, we are seeking a skilled and entrepreneurial Marketing Manager to join our aggressive and dynamic European team.
You will be responsible for crafting strategic plans to establish and improve our brand presence, prioritizing resources to different projects, and setting both short-term and long-term goals.
Work with marketing, creative, and digital teams to develop objectives and tactics in a coordinated marketing plan targeting B2B channels. This is a cross-functional role where a deep collaboration between the product team, sales team, digital and product / engineering teams is paramount.
1. Event Planning & Execution
Research EU Hospitality events and collaborate with Sales leaders to establish an annual trade show presence that aligns with the company’s business goals.
Ensure successful events through asset logistics coordination and marketing collateral creation.
Establish pre-during-post show activation strategy and drive engaging social, PR, email activations and on-site incentives designed to increase trade show booth traffic and generate qualified B2B leads.
Collect generated leads and seamlessly hand them off to the sales operator for prompt and efficient follow-up.
Run post-event analysis through feedback collection and data analysis to identify areas for improvement.
2. Sales and Marketing Alignment
Align marketing strategies with sales objectives to enhance lead generation, conversion, and customer retention.
Develop compelling sales presentations, brochures, case studies, and other collateral that effectively communicate the brand’s value propositions and coordinate assets creation with creative teams and agencies.
3. Research & Marketing Strategy Development
Help identify utility rebate opportunities in key countries.
Support the execution of regular research studies focused on learning new market insights/trends with both current/potential customers.
Craft strategies for all Marketing campaigns, including Digital, Advertising, Events, Communications and Creative.
Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department.
Analyze consumer behavior and determine customer personas.
Find opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.
4. Partnership Marketing & PR Strategy Execution:
Work directly with new partners and resellers to align on messaging and launch co-branded marketing initiatives to boost brand credibility and increase outreach.
Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that support company objectives, enhance brand image, and boost media presence in key industry publications.
Organize press conferences, media briefs, product launches, and other events to improve press coverage
Build social media PR strategies to promote the brand's messaging and engage with target audiences on relevant B2B platforms.
Required qualifications and experience:
University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
4+ years of experience in strategic marketing or a related position
Experience with B2B marketing and content strategies (owned, earned, paid)
Self-starter with the ability to quickly solve challenges/problems
Ability to lead and grow relationships with remote cross-functional teams
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Willingness to travel for domestic and global events.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
In addition to English, fluency in additional languages such as French/ German / Spanish / Italian is a plus.
Prior exposure to Hospitality and/or Sustainability Industries.
Experience either collaborating with or working at mid- to large-sized marketing and/or digital agencies.
Experience with project or event management.
