Role Overview

You will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy. You'll create a mixture of educational and entertaining promotional content that engages our current community, attracts new audience members, and positions Optimum in the Web3 sweet spot of technically advanced and culturally attuned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our emerging brand identity and business objectives

  • Manage daily content creation and community engagement on Twitter/X and to a lesser extent LinkedIn

  • Collaborate closely with Optimum’s community team, ensuring that content produced for X is also shared in a platform-native manner on Discord and Telegram

  • Create engaging written, graphic, and video content for different Web3 audiences (developers, investors, users, etc.)

  • Stay on top of the latest CT memes, Web3 narratives, and conversations to determine when and how to incorporate Optimum into the feed

  • Coordinate and MC Twitter/X Spaces and other community-building activities

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to communicate product launches, updates, and technical developments

  • Monitor, report on, and analyze social media metrics to optimize strategy and performance

  • Build relationships with Web3 influencers, communities, and projects for potential collaborations

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of social media management experience, with at least 1-2 years in Web3

  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and Web3 culture

  • Perpetually online with a proven track record in growing engaged communities on Web3-centric platforms

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts

  • Experience with community management tools and analytics platforms

  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and engaging content formats

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
