This is a grant funded position with a one-year contract, with the possibility of extending until August 2026.

As a Community Health Worker, you'll be conducting outreach to raise awareness across the San Gabriel Valley, supporting the planning and coordination of program activities that truly make an impact. You'll be the voice of information at community listening sessions, sharing important public health details—like those surrounding COVID-19. Plus, you'll help community members navigate available resources and welfare interventions tailored to their needs. Your organizational skills will come in handy as you manage program schedules, track deadlines, and maintain communication with management and stakeholders. You'll also have the opportunity to harness technology, using software tools to collect and report data on crucial community health metrics. Expect to take on some exciting travel within cities like Rosemead, El Monte, and Pasadena! If you're passionate about promoting health in Los Angeles County, have at least one year of relevant experience, and are proficient in both English and Spanish, we want to hear from you, especially if you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where detailing and problem-solving are key.
