Job Description

 Base Starting Wage $25.50

Benefits Start on Day One

Currently Hiring for: Days M-F Shifts

Day Shift Hours (3:00 PM - 1:00 AM) M-F.

This position is an essential part of Cornerstone Building Brands’s manufacturing team. A maintenance technician, or Maintenance Mechanic, is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment. Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic, inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards, and reporting major breakdowns and repairs on machinery.   This position performs various maintenance tasks as assigned and is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and productive working environment.  

Qualifications

5 years proven maintenance experience. Related degree from a college, technical college, military experience. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replaced defective parts.  

  • A minimum of one (5) year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment
  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
  • Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a substance abuse screening test and criminal background check.
