As the Managing Director, United States, you will be at the forefront of our US sales strategy, being responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining strong client relationships and growing our presence in the US market. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a results-orientated mindset who has exceptional communication skills and a deep understanding of the US private markets space.
Key responsibilities
Work with senior management to develop and implement effective sales and go-to-market strategies, utilising both direct and indirect, partner-led channels
Identify new commercial opportunities, including prospecting through your own network
Own the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, business development, commercial negotiations and deal execution
Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, including through the attendance of industry and marketing events
Extend Delio’s brand recognition and US presence
Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure the right products and solutions are delivered to the market
Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments and competitor activities
Essential requirements
We’re looking for an ambitious Managing Director with the following:
Deep understanding of private markets
Proven track record of success within the private markets ecosystem and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
Established networks across a combination of wealth, asset management and industry service/ecosystem providers
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships online and offline
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and influence decision-makers
Responsibility-driven mindset with a commitment to achieving ambitious goals
Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a customer-first mindset
Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable requirements
Experience within a fast-paced and fast-growth environment
Experience using HubSpot (or similar CRM) as well as broader industry tools
