As an Electro-Mechanical Engineer at Dexterity, your ingenuity and hands-on approach will drive the optimization of our cutting-edge robotic systems. Based in Redwood City, you'll dive into a dynamic robotics lab where you'll have the opportunity to prototype, build, and rigorously test electro-mechanical solutions. This role is all about team collaboration, as you'll be teaming up with our talented hardware, software, and controls engineers to ensure our designs are not only reliable but also scalable and ready for manufacturing. Expect to get your hands dirty with in-depth prototyping and testing, developing comprehensive test plans that validate both components and systems. In addition, you’ll engage in lab and field testing, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes to analyze performance and refine our designs. Your troubleshooting expertise will shine as you integrate mechanical and electrical systems, proactively addressing any system-level issues that arise. Beyond development, you will enhance manufacturability by providing insightful design feedback in conjunction with our design and Global Services teams. You'll also contribute to our repository of technical documentation, ensuring a seamless knowledge transfer within the team. If you're someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field, and have 7+ years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical systems, preferably in robotics or automation, we want to hear from you!
