The Cloud Architect (Level 3) will serve as a key contributor to the Engineering Future Operations team within the Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) Program Management Office (PMO) at DISA. This position requires deep expertise in cloud architectures and service offerings across multiple Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), with a focus on driving innovation, efficiency, and mission alignment in support of DoD objectives.

Provide subject matter expertise in XaaS Cloud Service Offerings across multiple CSPs including off-prem, on-prem, hybrid, and tactical edge environments.
Evaluate commercial CSOs against DoD cloud use cases for potential inclusion into enterprise cloud capabilities.
Facilitate and participate in user community round tables to capture lessons learned from previous cloud adoptions.
Engage directly with the user community to address cloud adoption questions and provide expert guidance.
Develop and maintain a CSO roadmap to prioritize offerings based on DoD mission demands.
Assess existing DoD contract capabilities to ensure comprehensive representation of cloud offerings within DISA contracts.
Conduct and lead technical exchange meetings with CSPs and Mission Owners to enhance cloud solution strategies.
Provide advisory input to align CSO capabilities with DoD governance structures and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication skills, with ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with Department of Defense security requirements and compliance frameworks.
Hands-on experience with a wide array of CSPs and modern cloud infrastructure architectures.
Demonstrated ability to work in large, complex IT environments supporting mission-critical initiatives.
