Sales Team Leader

We're looking for a Sales Team Leader who'll be responsible for overseeing a team of Sales Advisors who support clients and referral partners throughout our quote process. You will play a critical role in optimising sales conversion through our contact centre and building engagement with our referral partners.

On any given day you could be doing many of the following:

  • Make and oversee follow up calls to prospective clients who have requested a quote to answer questions and drive quote conversion
  • Oversee the onboarding and relationship management of referral partners
  • Design and optimise contact flows and create personalised phone and email scripts for different client segments
  • Manage, coach and mentor a team of Sales Advisors
  • Monitor calls to improve quality, minimise errors and track team performance
  • Handle and resolve complex enquiries
  • Evaluate performance using key metrics to identify improvements and training needs
  • Use client feedback to enhance sales procedures, policies and standards
  • Deliver individual and team KPIs that provide excellent client service and satisfaction
  • Recruit and retain new team members to support company growth
  • Proven B2C contact centre experience, ideally from a startup or high growth environment
  • Proven experience of managing successful sales teams
  • Experience designing and optimising contact flows
  • Experience of objection handling and creating messaging for different client segments
  • Warm and personable communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and an affinity for data driven decision making
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
  • Experience coaching and mentors sales team members
