This role functions as a sensor development technician on integrated product teams tasked with the development of chip scale image sensor and related night vision technology development. This position requires the ability to work across teams that are designing for ultra-high vacuum, semiconductor, high voltage applications.
Responsible for conducting engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work. Performs engineering tests, detailed experimental testing or operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Performs troubleshooting to determine problems in the process and/or related equipment. May work with complex machines or computer systems. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, calibrates, aligns, assembles and operates equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
It is expected that the candidate will meticulously document process steps and work performed in the action of sensor development. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate with the engineering staff, design team leaders and facility personnel.
