Amazon is seeking a passionate, results-oriented, and inventive Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager with strong client relationship skills, people development and the ability to think differently about how we deliver talent. This Sr. Manager will work closely with business partners in North America, while also acting as a global point of contact for all hiring done for these businesses globally.This role will provide the opportunity to significantly shape and own how we think about Talent Acquisition (TA) within this business as well as being in a great position to directly contribute to the overall global strategy. Virtual locations may also be considered.Key job responsibilities• Build TA team capability to proactively source and build diverse candidate pools that will fulfill our client's annual hiring demand.• Act as a global TA partner for these lines of business and partner closely with international TA partners to insure we are hiring the best talent globally and delivering the right results for the business in each region.• Partner with key stakeholders (Business Partners, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and Recruiting Managers) to determine future talent needs and appropriate sourcing strategies; this requires a deep understanding through extensive market research of the channels where we can find the best, diverse talent who fit our business, technical and cultural demands.• Build engage, manage and develop a team of high-performing staff in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment.• Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress.• Develop and execute to plans to identify and drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals without having to scale deployed resources at a rate faster than the business is growing.• Periodically lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition.Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary degree• 10 years of Talent Acquisition experience• 5 years direct people leadership experience• 3 years of experience managing managers• Experience recruiting for non-technical talent• Experience building, coaching and managing a recruiting team• Experience working with recruiting tools and systems, including resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and spreadsheetsPreferred Qualifications• Experience managing senior staff and/or staffing managers• Organized and pragmatic; thrives in a results-oriented environment• Passion for and proven success creating and implementing successful diversity strategies• Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of ROI• Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow between Candidates, Hiring Managers and the Recruiting team• Project/Program Management Experience• Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $162,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $268,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
