Overview

ERMCO (Electric Research and Manufacturing Cooperative, Inc.) is headquartered in Dyersburg, Tennessee, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. (AECI), Little Rock, Arkansas. ERMCO is one of the largest producers of oil filled distribution transformers and transformer components in North America. 

 

ERMCO is looking to hire an Engineering Intern as part of the Advanced Materials and Methods (AM&M) team at our components plant in Bristol, WI where we manufacture components for electrical distribution transformers. Working with the Director, you will have opportunities to expand your engineering knowledge in our 150,000 SQFT manufacturing facility where you will cover whole machine documentation, components lists, machine maintenance instructions and more.

Responsibilities

An internship with ERMCO will provide a variety of experiences and exposure to the engineering team through meaningful project work that contributes to the overall strategic business goals of ERMCO. This opportunity will be onsite based at our location in Bristol, Wisconsin.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be a college/university student that has completed sophomore year credits and is applying to or enrolled in a college/university Engineering program. Must encompass strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
