Job Description

Reporting into Manager of Data Applications, you will produce analysis, design and implement well tested data solutions to meet business requirements with the assistance of senior team members.

What you'll do?

  • Complete an initial Data analysis and audit.
  • Ensure an initial document is supplied the main requirements are gathered.
  • Understand the structure and relationships within the data.
  • Ensure any issues are reported back to senior colleague and provide solutions.
  • Ensure that testing takes place at each stage of the build process.
  • Complete required accurate and easy to understand documentation.
  • Identify causes of data/database problems.
  • Initiation and implementation of solutions, including coding and testing, with assistance.
  • Support systems and products and resolution of queries and problems.
  • Share technical knowledge with team colleagues, management, and clients.
  • Work with other functional experts in the fields of Data Analyst, Modelling, Software Development, GIS and QA to develop the most appropriate solution for any given problem.
  • Work with Project managers to ensure the smooth running of projects.

Qualifications

What you'll bring?

  • A background in database technologies including design, administrations, population
  • Some Good programming and development skills
  • Experience or knowledge of Python
  • Experience or knowledge of SQL
  • Good planning and management of data development tasks within a project
  • Communicate both with a technical and non-technical audience
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Develop knowledge of own field/area to provide guidance/advice and contribute to the business success of the division.
  • Gain detailed technical knowledge of Business Strategies product set.
  • Gain detailed knowledge of software technology developments and how they could influence the EBS software product set and Data processes.
