Job Description

We are thrilled to announce that Experian has acquired NeuroID. Since 2023, NeuroID has partnered with Experian to provide the latest behavioral analytics, combating identity theft and advanced fraud attacks. Now, as part of Experian's CrossCore® on the Experian Ascend Technology Platform™, we continue to lead the charge in proactive fraud detection and seamless user experiences.

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our team. You will have a foundation in software development, a passion for learning, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Your role will involve developing and maintaining software solutions that meet our standards of quality and reliability.

You will report to the SVP of Engineering.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and maintain automated tests to limit regression defects.
  • Explain design choices and the tradeoffs involved.
  • Troubleshoot bugs across multiple projects, even if not the code's original author.
  • Document code contributions, including comments, merge requests, READMEs, and tests.
  • Take small-to-medium-sized features from technical design to deployment with some mentoring.

Qualifications

Your background:

  • 1+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 1+ years of experience developing services and systems deployed to AWS.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, or Python).
  • Experience using GitHub.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting practices.
