Job Description

The Project Manager - Talent and Learning will help ensure the delivery and advocating of global Talent and Learning Programmes in their early stages. Programmes such as the development of our career framework, and the ongoing evolution of our Career Hub and development of world-class Leadership Development offering form a critical piece of our global HR strategy. The project manager will help build and deliver change and communications plans, supporting adoption and engagement in our programmes during the all-important 'stand-up' phase.

Reporting to the Agile Delivery Lead and working with product owners in the Global Leadership, Talent & Learning teams, the role holder's primary responsibility will be to project manage the implementation of new talent and learning products. You will use change management strategies and communication plans to support the development and evolution of needs-based solutions that maximise leader and employee adoption and usage.

As the Project Manager, you may work on a single major product, or the development of several smaller products from initial value canvas development, through project initiation, development, release testing and activation before ensuring the smooth transition of products post-development to the Shared Service Centre.

You will help ensure planning of the project, impact measurement, release planning and communications planning as the project evolves. You will also help ensure the identification and tracking of important project milestones and communicating with a range of important partners.

Working closely with members of the global talent and learning team, regional talent team, HRBPs and leaders, you will blend both knowledge of change management and HR process best practice, with a clear understanding of agile project management approaches and, design thinking approaches. You will also have a sound understanding of the overall Global People Strategy and will recognise and connect how these programmes form part of the wider holistic plan to guide enhanced performance across Experian.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the project management of the products developed by the global Talent and Learning product managers - this is likely to include Strategic Workforce Planning, Leadership Development, Technology Skills, etc.
  • Guide and ensure change management plans and practices to support core projects and programmes, ensuring the right level of understanding, traction and engagement across a wide number of partners
  • Ensure the management and communication of important people data to provide insight and make viable recommendations during product development.
  • Communicate with the HRBP team, broader HR Community and a range of main team members to ensure the smooth delivery of important projects and processes
  • Maintain close relationships throughout product development with Service Delivery team (once established) to ensure products are scalable and able to transition to existing global processes.
  • Lead the Project Plan in collaboration with the product owner, ensuring important milestones are identified and communicated to important partners.
  • Work together with the product owner and project team members to ensure the delivery of important milestones on time and within budget, resource and policy.
  • Present insights from important sources of people data to product owner and other partners to inform decision-making and action plans.
  • Manage a regular stand-up mechanism for the project team providing updates whilst capturing and tracking the measures of success to story tell the impact the programmes have made on the business.
  • Monitor progress, escalating risks to the product owner
  • Collaboratively work across the HR Responsibility and wider business to identify any dependencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management or similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management.
  • Experience working in HR/Talent and Learning Programmes
  • Knowledge of Agile project management methodology and tools including software.

Comms and Change Management

  • Communications planning and campaigns delivery
  • Understand global messaging guidelines and deliver plain, jargon-free, clear artefacts and assets
  • Prepare powerful messaging & communications to support leader's role in amplifying our learning culture
  • Working knowledge of communications tools – videos, infographics, posters.

Customer

  • Contribute to a culture that achieves goals, delights customers and keeps consumer advocacy at the heart of everything we do.
  • Ensure that good client / consumer outcomes are at the centre of all operational activity.
  • Deliver great clients and consumers service and try to exceed client / consumer expectations.

Regulatory

  • Follow all regulatory requirements within role responsibility and escalate issues quickly.
  • Identify risks and make recommendation to mitigate these.
  • Understand specific regulatory obligations and company procedures.

Additional Information

This is a permanent hybrid role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
