Operations Manager

Job Description

Manage daily operations of processing functions and maintenance of processing infrastructure ensuring service level agreements are met in support of clients and company mission-critical business requirements. 

Schedule:Night shift, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday OR Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Manage daily operations of processing functions and maintenance of processing infrastructure, ensuring service level agreements are met in support of clients and company mission-critical business requirements 

  • Oversee 30-35 people in a production environment, including staffing and assigning tasks to leads and direct reports 

  • Set and achieve daily production goals and plan for longer-term SLAs, typically on a weekly basis 

  • Manage multiple job functions through the card production process (printing, embossing, kitting, shipping) 

  • Serve multiple customers daily, handle escalations, and solve problems 

  • Provide guidance, hold the team accountable to goals, and manage productivity 

  • Operate and manage people using equipment/machinery 

 

What You Bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience 

  • 5+ years’ experience leading 20+ direct reports in a manufacturing environment with people and equipment (electronic equipment) 

  • Emotional intelligence 

  • Knowledge of all processing phases and administration 

  • Proficiency with communication, escalation management, and project management methods 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Strong problem-solving, team, and time management skills 

  • Ability to evaluate performance capabilities, counsel subordinates, and make projections of future expenses based on past expenditures 

  • Ability to operate independently
