Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee administrative operations, including managing insurance, payroll, and other admin tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a remote setting. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting company leadership with administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Administrative & Operations Management
Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency in a fully remote environment.
Maintain and improve company administrative processes, including documentation and compliance.
Manage internal communication tools and platforms to facilitate smooth collaboration among remote teams.
✅ Payroll & Benefits Administration
Administer payroll using Gusto, ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation.
Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Act as the main point of contact for payroll and benefits inquiries, liaising with service providers when needed.
✅ Employee Support
Assist in onboarding new hires, including setting up accounts, documentation, and system access.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with local labor laws in North America.
Support performance review processes and assist in implementing company policies.
✅ Finance & Compliance Support
Work closely with the finance team to handle expense reporting, invoicing, and vendor management.
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for remote employees, particularly in Massachusetts and Puerto Rico.
Assist with business insurance renewals and policy updates.
Qualifications & Requirements
✔ 3+ years of experience in office administration,, or operations (preferably in a remote setting).
✔ Strong understanding of Gusto or similar payroll/HR management systems.
✔ Familiarity with insurance, compliance, and employee benefits administration.
✔ Experience in a Web3, blockchain, or tech startup environment is a plus.
✔ Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
✔ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
✔ Ability to work independently and proactively in a fully remote role.
✔ Preferred location: Massachusetts or Puerto Rico
