HVAC Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a HVAC Engineer to join our team supporting Fluor on their Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF) project! This position is full-time and will be based out of Greenville, SC with hybrid flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct construction document reviews.

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup.

  • Demonstrate design experience in the area of nuclear industry HVAC design work and design related codes and standards.

  • Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.

Requirements

  • Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.

  • Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.

  • Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.

  • Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.

  • Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications.

Desired Skills

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
