We are seeking a HVAC Engineer to join our team supporting Fluor on their Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF) project! This position is full-time and will be based out of Greenville, SC with hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities
Conduct construction document reviews.
Plan, organize, and coordinate mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup.
Demonstrate design experience in the area of nuclear industry HVAC design work and design related codes and standards.
Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.
Requirements
Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications.
Desired Skills
Professional Engineer (PE) License.
