Operations Technician
Huntsman is seeking an Operations Technician supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in McIntosh, Alabama. This position will report to the Shift Supervisor.
Job Scope
The Operations Technician's position is dedicated to the efficient operation of the facility. In that regard, its primary responsibility is gaining knowledge and in-depth understanding of the production process and its supporting operations and applying that knowledge to achieve the desired outcome of efficient production. Operations Technician shall perform and be responsible for all unit functions including housekeeping that are necessary to maintain safe and efficient operations, for which he/she is properly trained to perform.

This position may require some involvement with materials regulated under the Resource conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). This involvement may require an understanding of applicable rules and procedures associated with RCRA wastes. A combination of training methods, e.g., Computer-based Training, Classroom, and/or On-the-job training, will be provided prior to any such involvement with RCRA regulated wastes.
